Who Am I?

My name is Tony Stephan and with the hundreds of thousands of blogs and websites about nutrition and fitness out there, I know it can become really confusing on what to read and who to trust. I mean most people and ideas contradict each other and people are left more confused than ever. I wan’t to make things really simple for you and cut through the scams, pseudoscience, and the nonsense out there.

Deeper than food.

There are plenty of Registered Dietitians out there with blogs filled with healthy recipes and tips for you to eat clean….

I don’t do that.

halo-topI’ve coached hundreds of people through a unique approach that focuses not only on your nutrition but the deep rooted psychological components that most people face when trying to obtain a healthy lifestyle. I used to just throw meal plans at people filled with healthy foods and tips to stay on track, and you know what happened? They failed. You can’t separate physiology from psychology. Without addressing the psychological component, I’ve found that most people are unable to sustain their weight loss in the long term.

What’s the point in losing weight if you aren’t able to keep it off, right?

I teach people how to lose weight through a flexible approach to weight loss, mindset development, and self love. I don’t believe in diets or restrictions or labeling food as “good” or “bad”. Plus, who doesn’t love ice cream right?

Why Listen To Me?

I hate droning on about myself so I’ll make this short.

image1I’ve been in the fitness industry since the age of 18 as a personal trainer. I obtained by BS degree in Dietetics from Wayne State at 23 and passed the licensing exam and obtained my RD credential in the same year. I make sure to “walk the walk” by competing in men’s physique by using a flexible approach to dieting for contest preps.

I am a Regional Nutrition Program Manager for LifeTime Fitness and still work with clients as a personal trainer and registered dietitian.

I’ve helped multiple people lose over 100 lbs – check out my before and afters!

I’ve coached people to success who have failed for years in their life and thought they could never be fit.

I’ve coached the challenging clients who worked with other fitness/health professionals and could not find success.

I work with doctors, nurses, stay at home moms aka super moms :), teens, lawyers, and people who thought they could never get healthy, change their lives forever.

Helping people through nutrition and exercise is my passion.

I want to help anyone who needs it!
